You can camp in Smoky Mountain National Park, but if you prefer to be in the middle of everything with close and easy access to all the local attractions in the Gatlinburg-Pigeon Forge-Seviereville area of Tennessee, you’ll want to choose Riveredge RV Park. Located on The Parkway, just west of traffic light # 10, you should enter between the Log Cabin Pancake House and Smoky Shadows Motel. Year-round you’ll find beautifully kept campsites with full hook-ups in this park which is in its thirty-fourth year. The owners’ parents still live in the lovely home right on the property, so you know it is kept well! Your campsite can be right on the Pigeon River or at the foot of the mountain which backs the grounds.
Of course the restroom and laundry facilities are excellent, but the family recreation area is like none we have ever seen in our thirty years of RV travel. It is like a swiss chalet with all glass to its pretty peaked roof. The second floor, which you can see from your campsite and keep check on the youngsters, is filled with video games, pool table, fooz-ball, and numerous entertainments, as many as you have quarters for! A fun place for kids or adults who are tired of close camper quarters! There is also a large swimming pool and the latest playground equipment for little ones.

The local trolley runs through the campground every twenty minutes to take you wherever you wish to go in Pigeon Forge or to catch to orange trolley into Gatlinburg. You’re also in easy walking distance to many restaurants and attractions in Pigeon Forge.
No camper or RV, but you still want the campground experience? No problem. Riveredge also has beautiful fully-equipped cozy log cabins for rent. The one bedroom ones are adjacent to the campsite. The spacious two-bedroom cabins for four to six people are located one and a half miles out of town, with full access to all the campground amenities and pool. Each of these cabins features a gas fireplace and jacuzzi.
