If you happen to be in our blessed City by the Bay right now or in the next couple of months, do yourself a favor, and make a reservation at Mastro’s Steakhouse! A three-course prix fixe menu, comprised of the restaurant’s best dishes, is presented in an attractively priced, limited-time promotion, called Summer of Luxury, and available nightly between Monday and Thursday through September 24.

Founded in 1999 in Scottsdale, Arizona, by Jeffrey, Michael, and Dennis Mastro, the luxurious, contemporary Mastro’s Steakhouse and Mastro’s Ocean Club grew up to about 25 locations across Arizona, California, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Nevada, Texas, and Washington D.C.
The San Francisco location of Mastro’s Steakhouse in the heart of the city, near Union Square, comes across as a shining example of a highly-ranked upscale eatery, whose standards of hospitality and culinary prowess make our city proud.
Upon entering a posh, elegant atrium, decked in black marble, clear-glass wine coolers, artfully decorated mirrors, and lit by a whimsical Dale Chihuly chandelier, you immediately feel a very special character of this restaurant. It’s intended for special occasions as well as for regular weekday dinners—if you can truly appreciate the aesthetic décor and upscale furnishings, white tablecloth ambiance, and attentive service—everything that makes a steakhouse a glorious place to be.

Take an elevator upstairs, and you’ll find yourself by a backlit full bar with a comprehensive wine and cocktail list, and a co-called M Bar with a nightly live music program, in front of a spacious dining room, where the main action of your night out is happening. Executive Chef Brendy M. Monsada’s creations appear on the luxurious seasonal menu to provide you with a quintessential steakhouse experience, elevated for the occasion.

The Summer of Luxury menu Appetizers include Mixed Green Salad, French Onion Soup, Nueske’s Maple Glazed Bacon Steak, and Shrimp Cocktail (2 piece). Entrées of choice are Organic Lemon Pepper Chicken, Petite Filet 6oz, Double Cut Pork Chop 16oz with Apple Pecan Brandy Sauce, Blackened Salmon 10oz, and Bone-In Ribeye 22oz. To complement your steak, there are House Made Butters—Black Truffle and Lemon Calabrese. For delicious sides, Fresh Vegetables and Potatoes include Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Creamed Corn, Lobster Mashed Potatoes, and Spinach Steamed, Sautéed or Creamed.

For decadent Desserts, there are Cheesecake, Signature Personal Warm Butter Cake, Raspberry Sorbet, and the hit of the season, the new Lemon Blueberry Butter Cake, available only for a short time. (Catch it while you can!)

To pair noble spirits with your dinner, Mastro’s features an array of popular cocktails—the classic Mastro’s Manhattan; Lemon Drop that’s not just perfectly balanced and candy-sweet, but famously served with a theatrical presentation in a sugar-rimmed glass and a dramatic cloud of smoking dry ice; Strawberry Rhubarb Gimlet made with Botanist Gin, fresh lime, and Edinburgh Rhubarb & Ginger Liqueur, and other libations.

In tune with the major event of summer 2026, you can enjoy FIFA cocktails for the World Cup now through July 31: Golden Trophy with Don Julio 1942 Tequila, amaro, golden Spanish liqueur, lemon, simple syrup with a gold salt rim and grapefruit zest, and Goalkeeper with Casamigos Reposado Tequila, ginger, pineapple, lemon, cinnamon, sugar, and lemon zest.
