Ruby’s: THE Place For Campers at Bryce Canyon

Ruby’s RV Park and Best Western Motel at Bryce Canyon is an amazing little village in itself and the closest facilities to the Park entrance, just a mile away. Now Ruby Village is owned by the fourth generation of the Sterritt family, who are hands-on, caring and friendly managers.
The RV Park at Ruby’s has many choices of locations with full or partial hook-ups. You can locate your RV beneath beautiful pine trees on wide, flat, well- maintained grassy spots along the gravel road. There are full hook-ups with your choice of 30 or 50 amps, and cable TV is available in some spots. Or you can park directly behind the motel near the beautiful lake. Tent grounds are flat , grassy, and beautiful, and in summer you can even choose to stay in a real teepee! Ruby’s RV Campgrounds open April 1 through the end of October and Ruby’s Best Western Motel and Restaurant are open year-round.
We were there in mid-April and entered at the beginning of a snow storm. It snowed six inches overnight and was a beautiful, white fairyland the next day, frosting Bryce Canyon spires and hoodoos with white icing. A day later we had bright sun and blue skies and the snow melted by noon, creating a lovely springtime everywhere! What a treat! Make your reservations for this perfect RV Park early because it is a very popular place. Ruby’s also has gasoline and propane on site and a 24 hours, full- service RV and car repair center just across the street.
The General Store is not just a camping supply store but also this is the main store for miles around and has almost anything you could ever need from clothes, to souvenirs, to full groceries and produce and liquor. And Ruby’s Restaurant has DELICIOUS fare three times daily, with enormous and sumptious buffets and full menus. This is the favorite stop for bus tours coming through Bryce Canyon also. Never have we found an RV Park like this one! It is conveniently close to the Ruby’s Inn, in case you wish to walk to see family or friends staying there or to shop or eat at Ruby’s General Store and Restaurant.
