New Musem In Austin, Texas by Becky Skinner

If one is looking for an exciting and educational way to spend the day, we would highly recommend the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum in Austin, Texas. We went expecting to spend a couple of hours; instead 6 hours later when the museum was closing, we were making plans to return soon. The entire structure is “first class” and makes one proud to be a Texan. Our state history is a rich one, and the museum captures the spirit and the facts.

In addition to the Museum’s 3 floor exhibit area, there are two different productions in the multi-media Texas Spirit Theater, two different offerings in the IMAX Theater, an interesting special changing exhibit, and a lovely cafe which offers indoor as well as outdoor balcony seating. Our visit was so enjoyable, we became Museum Members so now we can boast that we are “Official Card-Carrying Texans.” For information you can click to the above or call (512) 936-4682
